Dew on web

It was rainy last night. It usually is damp overnight, often foggy in the morning. But when the sun comes out, it lifts everything.

My favourite photographs are often just the right combination of light and water. When I saw this spider's web in the garden, it was just the right timing for the sun shining through the beads of water. It was really sparkly and just appealed on that simple basis.

But, boy...that camera is good. Only in close-up can I see how the drops are clinging to the web and are distorted by the strands.
