Alabaster Eggs

I saw these alabaster eggs in the bookstore today and I could not believe how beautiful the colors were. I wanted to buy them in the worst way but since Easter is only days away I figured they would be packed up in the attic before long. Still they made for a nice Blip today.
I started the day off at the specialists for Ears, Nose and Throat since I am still not recovered from my bug over a week ago. The biggest thing was the fatigue. Well, I'm certainly not tired now because the doctor has started me on steroids and my heart is thumping, my eyes are bugged out and I feel like I can breathe really, really well. I hate the crazy ups and downs of taking steroids but I apparently have the mother of all sinus infections and antibiotic alone won't do it.
While I was getting my prescriptions filled at the pharmacy my husband took my grandson over to the store and ended up in the toy department. My grandson is really into Lego and wanted a huge set that was very expensive. My husband told him that Easter was coming soon and maybe the Easter Bunny would bring him a Lego toy. Without missing a beat he asked "Do you have his phone number?"
Later on we were in the Post Office buying some stamps and there was quite a long line. Like only a 4 year old can do he said in a very loud voice, "Why do we have to wait on this long line?" To which an elderly gentlemen turned and said, "That's what I want to know!" Kids are amazing.
I also got a surprise in the mail when I got home! The lovely shev had sent me a postcard from Edinburgh! It was a great postcard with the castle and clock tower on front. It's such a blast to get these cards I really appreciate it. Thanks Shev!
