We hired a young fellow to remove out of our attic old rockwool insulation. The insulation lays on the ceiling without a plastic vapor barrier. Our ceiling is tongue and groove four inch boards. Insulation can fall through the cracks. The pink fiberglass insulation lays on top of the rockwool insulation. He will vacuum and place plastic on the ceiling between the trusses. The fiberglass insulation stays. Six hundred square feet of attic to be cleaned.
