"30 foot from this place lays interred the body of George Chappell who died Sept 3 1679". He was a Rector Chori ("The Ruler of the Choir" ie Director of Music).

To the left of the West Entrance of the Minster, not noticed it before; always something new to see. Must remember my tape measure.
