Tractor at Work
It's Budget day in the UK and the Chancellor of the Exchequer seemed to be quite pleased with himself as he announced the changes. Has he put an end to child poverty? Has he provided money to put police on the beat and make it safe for women to walk home at night? Is there an end in sight for fuel poverty, homelessness and the underfunding of health services? They say the devil's in the detail* but I don't see it myself.
* The Devil's in the Detail seems to be the phrase of the day on the BBC. It means "our boffins haven't done the number crunching and our vocabulary is too poor to come up with an original phrase."
It's the Wide on Wednesday challenge today (hosted by steveng - thanks Steven). The theme is a singular subject. I found this tractor working. I think it's lifting beet or a similar winter fodder crop. I quite like the inclusion of a singular barn at the other end of the panorama.
