Very Belated ):-/

My brother Tony’s birthday was on 23rd and I asked Frank to go to the post office for a 1st class stamp and post it for me 3 days before it. 
Tony (Ant to me!) sent me this thank you message today when he recieved it 5 days too late!
Lucky I also sent him a FB greeting on the day.
He is 4 years younger than me which makes him er…63. A nicer chap you could not wish to meet. He used to be an art teacher - but in later years turned to carpentry and is now semi retired. He and my lovely SiL Diane live in Eastbourne and spend a couple of joyful days a week childminding their little granddaughter Emmeline. 
As you may see in the photo he is a great Beatles fan - well, coming from Liverpool he’s bound to be!

It was a very wet day today so I spent the morning doing my Inktober drawing the prompt was ‘spark’. I drew my hand striking a match.
After lunch I did some knitting and fell asleep! I was listening to the budget news as well as watching my needles and I think I was hypnotised! 
I felt rubbish afterwards, sleeping in the day does me no good at all. 
I took Bella for a trot which woke me up.
I think also night time cough medicine has a hangover effect and I have to take it just now otherwise I wouldn’t sleep at night just now. I don’t cough all day then at night I get a sore throat and cough. 

 Back to knitting now and I’ll try to stay awake!  ;-D
