The light shines

I haven’t posted for a while even though I have taken pictures every day, and in the days ahead I will upload those photos.

Reason is because of the stress at work. As of last week I was put on a leave of absence to try to give myself a chance to rest and recuperate.

So Lauralea and I hit the road to visit the kids, and try to enjoy autumn a bit.

Today we are in the city of Winnipeg, and it’s autumn, and it’s raining out. So Lauralea and I were walking in the rain when we found this Vietnamese place and stopped in to dry off and drink jasmine tea. We stayed for lunch.

The colours are starting to look brighter again. The lights in here make me smile again.

That’s a good step.
