Wednesday: Wet & Windy

Very heavy rain all day.
I had an appointment at the optician’s this morning, set off with plenty of time … holdups on the bridge … cars doing peculiar manoeuvres on my favourite short cut … lady at the ticket machine in car park using bank card which messed up the machine … ran down to the other machine … and the rain just P O U R E D down!
Was soaked by the time I got there but everything ok :-))
Quick walk to The Works and got some books, then picked up coffee & snack at Gerrards (they also me let me use their “facilities”.
Raining heavily on way home, Menai Bridge town in particular - road like a river.
Got home safely, heating on for a while to dry my clothes but it’s so mild - 14°C outside this evening.
Did a little more knitting … and reading.
