because of bcam - (breast cancer awareness month) - which is near and dear - to my heart - yes due to it being pink - y’all know i love pink - but more importantly - because breast cancer runs - in my family and - we have been brought - to face its ugliness - we have experienced both - death to its ravages - as well as extended - recovery and ongoing survival - for which i am grateful - to be a survivor due to - advancements over the years - is because of the generosity of - people giving along with - millions doing all kinds - of fundraisers in their communities
