Hellebore

I was very surprised today to see my two white hellebore are full of buds and ready to burst into flower. Provided I can keep the snails away that is, looks like they're already snacking on them.
I popped down to the post office in a dry half hour this morning then did lots of returning of items, to M&S at the Gyle in particular so my bank balance is pleased about that.
Next stop was Tesco where I picked up some bits and pieces for Ali. That done, I had a good excuse to go and visit her and have some extra cuddles with both generations of my girls - you're never too old for a hug with your mum! Josie is doing so well and starting to take notice.
No problems after my double jab yesterday, some slight discomfort on my flu arm, but nothing to write home about. Hope it continues like this.
I'm getting very fed up of this wet weather, with luck it won't last much longer.
