Beach

After a morning kickabout for Joe, we drove out to a beautiful cove for some snorkeling and beach time. It was stunning. Turquoise water and fish a-plenty. Ava and I swam far out and loved the deep, clear sea. I could have stayed in the water for hours.

Back for food and drinks. Joe played with his new friends so we hardly saw him. It's a strange turn of events; he's usually the shy one. Instead, he's found buddies and Ava's with us. I don't mind, she's great company and I think it's brought us closer this holiday.

Mum update: She's slowly improving. Dad was able to visit today. She hates the ward and finds the noise inhibits rest. Knowing mum, she'll be getting into debates with the anti-vaxxers which won't be helping her blood pressure! She's on our family whatsapp group lots, which is great.
