We saw one coyote

...on the trail. We walked on a beautiful trail this afternoon at 3 PM when I saw one coyote walking towards us but on the other side of the creek, that had almost no water in it. I said to my hubby, let's get back to the car.

I wanted to go out today to look for just one tree etc. as prompted by our host for widwed Wednesday. Instead of a lonely tree I have one coyote. 

I googled the area and yes indeed they have bitten joggers in the leg, so they are not afraid of us, and since it was a hot afternoon, we did not see  many people on the trail. Hubby of course would have stayed. But I am only going so far for a blip.
