Genetic Traits
Travelled to Bristol today to help M&C move into their new 'project' house.
The 5-years-empty house has interesting design features such as the loft-door-not-quite-in-the-cupboard, and interesting levels of damp and crumbliness but it's what they were looking for.
The plans are for an eco-renovation along the [award winning] path set by M's grandmother, and lots of hands-on DIY as per parents.
Some clear reminders of our time camping on the floor of the Cambridge house while we introduced the concept of electricity to the 1st floor, whilst still holding down two full-time jobs.
Been there, done that, happy to step back and watch this one from a safe distance :o)

In the genetic vein, was please to finally receive a game I pre-ordered back in June (small-print-run games from fledgling companies tend to be an exercise in patience) - Genotype. Pea gene matching as a subject may be a reason why it's a small print run, but its a great game and looking forward to getting it to the table.
