Yet more building!

There are houses being built everywhere here.  The village has a number of new estates that have been built over the last few years and at least one more estate to come.

This building work is going on near my house but I didn't know about it until I looked out of my bedroom window and saw (and heard) the work going on.  This afternoon two lorries carrying concrete arrived so they must be doing the footings.

I shall be sorry to see buildings rather than trees when I look out of the window although I appreciate  that people need to live somewhere.  So far there are no more roads, schools, doctors etc. to take account of the increasing population of course .
