Another welly boots day.

Stormy night blew out, leaving rain for most of the day. Morning mudflats walk again. And another soaking.

Watched FMQs from Holyrood. After lunch we set off to go to the nearest town for a few simple supplies to supplement our Tesco collection from Saturday. We turned back at the second flood (only a mile from our house).

After a cup of tea we walked locally - lots of localised flooding. The early evening news confirmed the area had indeed taken a pounding, and more rain is to follow.

Younger son returned home for work ill. Several colleagues are same by all accounts. Older son and wife are pleased with how their wee puppy is settling in.
