View to North West from the Upper Knockbain area of the Black Isle. Had an explore of the nearby wood. Several of the forestry roads through it, as shown on the map, are overgrown, and are now either rough paths, or have as good as vanished altogether. Perhaps taking the bike was a mistake for there. Returned to road, and then took the old military road, now a very good forestry track, over to Mount Eagle. Hurtling down the road from there, made up for all the lugging the bike through the woods earlier.
