A GATE TOO FAR

As Angus & I passed this house, I saw
something glistening in the sunshine.
My Blip shows you what I saw- - a
sparkly SKELETON, hanging by its neck,
on a gate. A SKELETON GATE ORNAMENT!

I am glad Halloween is almost over because
the macabre is careening toward the frighteningly ridiculous. Last week I saw
a Dead Pet Shop display with skeletons of all kinds of pets. Today I saw gruesome baby dolls hanging from tree branches.
It’s all too much. Both of those,
& the sparky SKELETON give me the creeps.
