Peaceful....

I spent a great part of the day walking around town, just hanging out... i spotted a very peaceful looking park from the road; blossoming trees, green grass and waterfountain, so after parking the car i headed off to find a nice quiet bench to eat my chicken nuggets!!! It soon became apparent why this place was so 'peaceful' - it was a memorial park..... and after some time wandering around i found a public bench... all the others had dedications on them so not exactly the proper place to munch on my lunch! so there i was, happy and content, so was zoe cos she got some of my chicken.... my eyes fell upon one of the plaques right beside me...( just an aside, there were no headstones so it wasn't apparent that it was a memorial park, but there were plaques, bearing names, dates of birth and death - throughout the park...) it had my last name on it.... Wright... boy was that freaky.... it seems Howard Wright was born in 1932 and died in 2006, and his partner, Winston Franklin Wilson, was born in 1941 and died just last year, 2008!!! well all this gave me pause to try and imagine this couple's life.... not to mention the weird coincidence of me sitting right beside it!!! I looked at many other plaques, no other 'Wrights' !!! I like to believe that this was just a sign that me following my intuition was right on... and not the more creepy idea that this is a foretelling of my impending death!!! i'm definitely going with the former scenario!
anyway, i then found myself inside this amazing magnolia tree - it was just so stunning, and as you can see it is just on the verge of blossoming. i'll go back in a few days and enjoy the full blossom! perhaps i'll stop by Howard and Winston's plaque and have a wee chat with them!!! i'm sure they'll enjoy that!
