Bunch

My mother, Florence Catherine, was always called Bunch, or sometimes Boo, she died on this day in 1992 aged 81. She was a keen gardener so perhaps it was appropriate that her fatal heart attack dropped her into a flower bed, in London Zoo. She was about to attend her granddaughter’s birthday party, so making the details of dealing with this, with two small girls, very complex for my sister.
This photo sits on my dressing table, the chair she was sitting on and the cushion behind her, is now next to my bed and directly opposite the photo; it is where I sit each morning for meditation and prayers, joining a community online, and afterwards my breakfast.
