Spring

Beautiful blue skies, fluffy white clouds and sunshine this morning, still really very chilly wind, but a nice enough day to go for a walk.
Ventured over the other side of Barn Hill to Fryent Country Park, tried to stick to the footpath as it was terribly muddy over the fields, but the pursuit of photogenic birds led Dad and I off the beaten track.
Took a few attempts to get a good shot as dogs seemed to appear just at the wrong time and the heron took flight before we could get close enough.
