At last a touch of Spring!

I took a quick shot of these - some of the hundreds in the garden - before we headed south for the Easter weekend. It was so nice to see them open like this in the sunshine.

I am still amazed notwithstanding my 60+ years that despite all the grotty weather over the last few weeks flowers will bloom and the seasons move on. Now if I could only remember that lovely quote from Ecclesiastes.......might even go and look it up!
