The Rudbeckia is all but finished, but there is little else flowering in the garden so it is a bit of colour ....... it has rained heavily most of the day and only dried up within the last hour or so.  Even a blink of sunshine, although it didn't last.

Lots of flooding in the south of Scotland, and the north of England, and people having to be evacuated from their homes in Hawick.  The weather is certainly getting more extreme.  I think it is timely that they are having talks in Glasgow on Global Warming, in fact, probably past the time they should be doing something about it.  

The city is bound to be chaotic during the talks though.  Haven't been in the city for nearly 2 years, although it is only 12 miles north of here.
