After the Rain

The rain was torrential, almost monsoon-like when we arrived in town.  But after a cafe sejourn,  the sun came out and we boarded the big wheel. Town was full of stalls and music and entertainers for the Winter Droving, though lacking a bit in visitors. More arrived soon after this photo, when the late sun was welcome.

No torchlight procession this year because of COVID, but seven years ago I made this headdress for the occasion.
