Day One

All is well! I went into surgery late yesterday and I have no memory of the hours between 3 and 10 last night. Today the surgeon came by and said it was all straightforward and they got out all the cancer they know about. I think I’ll have another scan in a few months to check, and then every six months to check.
The drugs are working well and I’m not in any pain. I feel like I’ve been poked several times in the belly but it’s a bit of discomfort rather than pain. All is well and all will be well. Thank you for checking in with me.
