Goodness Gracious ...

My good friend R went to hospital very early this morning for her full knee replacement whilst her husband B has gone into respite care for a couple of weeks.  So whilst the coast is clear another friend Karen and I went early to their home to do a bit of cleaning.  The two scrubbers have enjoyed our morning and done a good job, R would be proud.
 
Great balls of fire  : (back of my eyes) – My lovely Optometrist left our town a few years ago to head up a new business in Newcastle-under-Lyme which is where I have stalked followed him this afternoon for an eye test as I knew there was something going on with my right eye (can’t see).  My test revealed that I don’t need new glasses, hooray – but I do need a cataract op.  So he’s put the wheels in motion and hopefully I’ll be able to see a little clearer ………. Sometime soon.

R has just whatsapped me, operation done and doing well,  I’ve rung the hospital to check and they confirm..
