The Hebrides

arrived in Stornoway this afternoon in preparation for a photoworkshop on Harris which starts on Sunday. Someone else on the workshop happened to be on the same flight and staying at the same B&B which is great. The main photo is my first view of the Hebrides, taken from the plane after breaking through the dense cloud that surrounded us for most of the way from Glasgow. Its taken straight into the sun hence looks a lot darker than it was. Extra was taken during an evening stroll around the harbour. The weather forecast is pretty bad for the week but tonight there was some lovely colour in the sky.
