Which is a still going strong in the garden - although it feels like winters on its way.
I have just finished an excellent book - Confession with Blue Horses by Sophie Hardach about life under the Stasi, a novel I found it moving. Just started Wintering by Katherine May, the power of rest and retreat in difficult times - it feels the right time to be reading it.
I met with my friend Kate today, despite being fully vaccinated she’s just had Covid, she described her symptoms as mild but talking about her frightening blood loss I really wasn’t sure they were. The spike in numbers here I find quite scary.
