Home again...

"It's a joy to bring a daughter home from college." 

said W this evening, after driving two+ hours each direction to bring Isabelle home. He is happy. I'm happy. D. is happy too, and immediately brought out his dreaded physics homework for sisterly assistance. And Felix is happy with the bag of laundry she brought home. Tomorrow I. will vote for the first time - that's the reason behind this quick trip home - and then I'll take her back tomorrow afternoon or Sunday morning.

The blip shows one of the American beautyberry shrubs out by the street. The purple berries are abundant and vibrant this year. The large view disguises some of the fuzzy focus. :-) Happy weekend, folks!
