JOHN

aka JOHN (Times Two), I suspect so that can be searched on the web. Both band members are called John and much banter with the band such as "What's your name again". A large board of guitar pedals balanced up the lack of band members.

Gig et al Ramble
They've made a breakthrough , after many years gigging after recent exposure on BBC Radio 6. A standout current album  (with a sound like  "Motorhead" + "Killing Joke" & "Idles" -more my sound) quite a few veterans of the era of the former two. The touring support had act had a band members had her parents and 84 year old grandma sitting opposite me (at the time) in the raised mini seated box at the back. 

Had my dancing feet on for JOHN and enjoyed the relatively genteel mosh pit comprised 50/50 twenty year old students and vets, and bonding that accompanied it. Respect for my Sweat from a youngster at the end of the gig last night.

Consistent with their recent Bandcamp postings, JOHN were very humble and grateful for some success after many years and clearly were having the time of their life, complimenting the sound engineer at one point for how good they sounded from the stage. They made no 78 in the top 100 album chart recently. Ticket price -£12.50 including booking fee; experience - priceless.

Note to self - Look at upgrading my gig earplug effectiveness (from my old Senheisser's).
