A BLIPPER'S KNICKERS ON SILLY SATURDAY

Hello lovely Blippers,

Mrs HCB was determined to “Blip her Knickers” if you will pardon the expression, but we felt that just seeing her knickers was much too risqué so we came up with a plan.

She said that the best way to blip them all together was to put them on the washing line so we decided that we would all get in front of them and the only way we could do it was to peg ourselves on the washing line too, using Mrs. HCB’s pink robe as a backdrop and you can even see some pink Cosmos at the front.

Well, it is Silly Saturday so we didn’t really mind looking silly, and after all, it is for a good cause because as you know this is Breast Cancer Awareness Month or Pinktober to give it another name! 

It was quite a job pegging each other on the line, and we had to ask Mr HCB to help us but we managed and all we hope is that you will help by clicking on this LINK, so that those who cannot afford to pay for a mammogram will be able to get a free one. If you click then this will be worth all the effort and ignominy! 

So, when was the last time YOU did something silly? There are always silly things happening in the HCBs’ household but I’m sure you know that already.  Of course, you will also spot a pink bra amongst the knickers!  We thought “In for a penny, in for a pound” as the expression goes, only in this case, it was “In for the knickers, in for the bra” and if we are all honest, that’s what this month has been all about!  We are sure that Admirer would have giggled if she had seen this Blip today.

PS Mr. and Mrs HCB wanted to remember Mr HCB’s mother, Joan, as she died 25 years ago on 30th October.  Joan had breast cancer, which she coped with in an amazing way, so it is good to honour her memory - see extra photograph.  Joan will always be loved and remembered as a loving, kind and gentle lady, with a strong faith - much to emulate for those of us who are left.
