Aromatherapy oils.
It is very cold, windy and wet. I have been up and about since 8:30am because Arthur was yowling very loudly and wanting some company. I fed him and calmed him down.
Green tea and ginger with sourdough toast for breakfast was just what I needed and Arthur got his cuddles and that settled him down.
We recently discovered sourdough bread is excellent for good gut health. Apart from the fermented bacteria which is probiotic, there are a wealth of goodies in it, including zinc, iron, selenium and B12. We were having Hovis granary but I think sourdough sliced will be our favourite choice now.
The blip shows a selection of Aromatherapy carrier oils and essential oils.
My favourite carriers are jojoba, calendula and hazelnut. The big bottle is avocado oil, a good rich moisturiser and for massaging face, hands and knees. These are sold by Naissance online and other companies.
I enjoy making up rollerball blends with these carrier oils. A calming blend is ten mls of carrier oil with five drops each of bergamot, lavender and ylang-ylang.
An uplifting blend would be ten mls of carrier oil with five drops each of lemongrass, orange oil and peppermint. The beauty of Aromatherapy is that you can adapt the blends to the strength you find preferable.
Have a good day everyone, stay safe and thanks for dropping by.
