BIG WIND

Lake Michigan can get really nasty when the wind howls out of the northeast. Some big waves were hitting the shoreline around the Sheboygan harbor and making quite a splash for the locals to watch. The gulls were nonplussed.

I'm sure these waves, all dirty from the bottom being riled up, are nothing compared to those of you living next to the sea get to experience but to a mid-westerner, a 20 foot fresh-water wave is spectacular.

There were even a few surfers out there all trussed up in a wet suit...or given the cold temperature perhaps it was a dry suit.
