Alternative route required

Due to inappropriate, albeit sturdy, footwear I had to take a detour on my walk today. I hadn't appreciated that wellies would be required for a stroll in the park. The Clyde is so high at the moment that areas of Strathclyde Park are under water. The level is falling and the car park which was flooded yesterday is now clear. I suspect it might take a few days for the M74 underpass and the walking route under Clyde Bridge to dry out.
