Tribute to Ramsey
We popped in to see Alison Watt’s exhibition in tribute to Allan Ramsey. Her paintings are startling when you get to see them up close. Very enjoyable.
Afterwards, we did a bit of shopping. Mr A needed a new rain jacket. I “needed” some stuff from Seasalt (where we also bought Mr A a nice new hat), and then - because we had nearly an hour to while away before our lunch booking - we popped into a Gin Shop (a nearby pub being full (probably of COVID)). Mother’s ruin, etc. etc. We also bought a bottle to replace the one that was stolen.
Lunch was at Cafe Andaluz, but unlike one of the last times we went there - the last time according to Mr A - we managed to avoid buying a kitchen afterwards. But we had a lovely time, shared a nice bottle of wine, and rolled back here on a Number 10, which now does a great door to door service for us between here and George Street.
The afternoon has been idle.
