Driving at 90 down those country lanes

I stay in a very beautiful part of the world.  The whole world is very beautiful to be honest.

I was born here, brought up and went to school.

I left when I was 19 to go to University in Edinburgh, and pretty much stayed in Edinburgh for the next four years.    After Edinburgh, I moved to Glasgow, and then Inverkeithing, and then Glasgow again, down south to Symington, and then came to Troon for the kids to go to school here.

Our life now, is pretty different from when the kids were home and small.  Life was a cycle of Brownies, Cubs, Ballet, Football, Scouts, Guides, Volleyball, Duke of Edinburgh, Football, homework, parties, growing up. Firsts.

First schools, second schools, secondary schools, exams, First drinks, first drunk, first girlfriends, first boyfriends, first burst ups, first times, holidays away, holidays home, university, leaving home, travelling abroad.  Applications, interviews, jobs, chucking jobs, moving on, travelling.

And all that was the kids.

Him and Me.  We've settled into a lovely routine of growing things, eating things, days out, days in, nights in, nights out. Books, leisure time. Working from home, not working from home. Allotment time.  Drone Time. Walking time.  Our time.

Life is good.
