Welcome sun

We finally had a break from the rain today, and enjoyed a few hours of chilly sunshine. This neatly coincided with a long-delayed trip to see my Granny.

These Asters are still going strong as you can see. Not many other flowers are left except for marigolds, and the leaves are falling in the pond.
