Raining cats and dogs.
Well the good weather didn’t continue.
This morning it was raining cats and dogs.
The river was extremely low when we arrived, and is now rising.
After breakfast packed up, ( got wet through loading the car) cleaned the caravan and set off back home, but first called in at the village craft shop, Elm Gallery. . A favourite of mine. Liz makes the most beautiful bags, and is a also a very talented artist, as is her husband, Dave.
If you are ever near Topcliffe, Thirsk pay it a visit.
Fortunately it cleared up as we got nearer home, and the sun was shining as we unloaded the car.
We certainly enjoyed our short break, and look forward to returning again next year.
Hopefully Mr C will have fully recovered by then as I have a few walks planned.
Now sat in front of the fire with a nice glass of red wine in hand.
Thank you all for your comments while we have been away. Hopefully will be able to catch up now we have WiFi again.
Photo taken from the caravan window before we left.
Just added yesterday’s blip.
