Survivor

A damp start to the day and Bailey and I were not up particularly early but we did walk the block once we were. Home to contemplate getting some work done and then a welcome interruption with a visit from the bestest friend bearing Welsh cakes (and very nice they are too.) Bailey was pleased to see her and have additional company and it was good ro have a catch up. 

I settled to work eventually and got the biggest single job done with quite a bit of weather going on in the background. It cleared after lunch and the sun tempted me out into the garden with my camera. This pennisetum has survived Bailey's attentions and finally has flowerheads. 

There has also been ironing, starting a new book, catching up on The Long Call and enjoying Strictly.
