Thatched autumn

The overnight rain quickly blew through and the sun came out. I took this photo on our road after a morning of further preparations at our new house.

On my way home I bought some tricks and treats for all the Gloucestershire family. We had been invited to join them for a delicious evening meal - including yummy pumpkin tart!

The boys post prandial entertainment was priceless! They will need the extra hour’s sleep tonight to replace the energy burnt with all that dancing!
