Kruger National Park - Day13

Eastern Tiger Snake (Telescopus semiannulatus). This distinctive thin-bodied snake is terrestrial but climbs trees and roofs readily in search of small birds, bats and lizards.
It bites readily, but venom is mild.
Found in the N and eastern part of the country.
This specimen was seen very close to our tent in the Letaba Camp.
