Haiku
Nettie and me enjoying a walk on the haiku path in Katikati.
It is the only such path in the southern hemisphere and thought to be the largest display of boulder haiku outside Japan.
The haiku are a collection from poets around the globe and are carved into local, volcanic andesite boulders.
The one Nettie is reading here says:
scattered
across water
parts of the sun
