Green Heron

It’s been ages since I’ve seen one of these guys so was happy to see him today and to also capture him in flight.

I spent the morning doing a ride around with Kent and the weather was perfect for it. It started out at 48°F and was about 65°F at noon. Sunshine and blue skies with a light wind. A great day to be outside.

Before coming home, we went to Lowes and bought all the items needed to replace the mailbox post and mailbox.

After having lunch I proceeded to paint our house numbers on the new mailbox and Kent starts to assemble everything for the post BUT upon opening one of the boxes it was discovered that all the items were not there.

Back to the store to exchange it, only they didn’t have any more,
so Kent had to drive to Porters Neck to their store there to pick one up.
