Redgate
This morning we walked over to Glossop, this takes us past Redgate, which is the road still blocked by snow 6 days after the fall. Redgate is so called after there was a battle on the hill behind where i took the picture , not sure who the other army was but the army which was defending the iron age fort was led by a chieften called Allman. It is said that a river of blood flowed down the then track(which is now a road) hence the name Redgate.
