Museum for the senses - Backblip

On June 15th I visited museum STAAL, in Almen. STAAL is short for STAring in ALmen. Staring being a poet from the 18th century. Born into a well off family. With a fondness of nature and animals. And with a good heart for the social underclass. 

This museum is rather small, but it's very senses minded. Since it is very small it is advised to go on really quiet hours to benefit the most from it. I was alone for the first half hour, so I made the most of it. 

There is a living room in which his poetry can be heard in song. There is a room with swings where you sit on to watch a film about the four seasons of the nearby river. Upstairs you can read his poetry. A lovely museum, a real surprise for me.
