Good Bye Summertime

The clocks have gone back, it’s another grey and rainy day, and I was happy to find this last (tiny, wet and slug-nibbled) splash of colour in the garden for a Halloween blip.

Thank you for the lovely comments on yesterday’s journal entry. My mother is feeling better, but still can’t get up without help because of the pain, and she’s very confused again.

For me, this was a day of paperwork and chores, since I didn’t get anything done yesterday. Now its 04:00 p.m. and almost dark, but it’s stopped raining at last. Soon I expect a few hopeful children to turn up and ask for sweets…
