Nearly time...

This afternoon the sun has been giving us "his nourishment" after a dark and rainy start to the day. The quote here is from Klara and Sun which is Kazuo Ishiguro's latest book. 

When we were on holiday last week most of us read this book and as result, were able to consider different interpretations. Mine is that KI has taken the equivalent of a "vacuum cleaner" (as referred to in the book) and showed the reader how it/she/Klara tries to make sense of the way humans behave. Klara tries to understand so that she can  help the humans in the story. The sun is a character in the story, the way I read it, and this is intriguing. I say no more but do recommend it.
