Window Dressing..

…………………or not as the case may be! Found at the end of the street.

A day most definitely of two halves. Woke early despite a late night but by the time I was up and breakfasted the rain had started, I was contemplating going for a walk anyway when the wind got up and the rain was blowing horizontally along the street…a plan B was quickly formulated! 

Over ripe bananas made into oat cookies, roasted some surplus veg and made a pan of soup with it and used up some milk, which would otherwise have been thrown out, in a rice pud made in the slow cooker.

By early afternoon the rain had ceased so wellies, winter coat, hat, scarf and mitts on and off I went to join the hoards of others taking a walk on the beach to blow the cobwebs away. Blue skies broke through as the afternoon progressed and thankfully the wind had dropped which made for a very pleasant stroll.

Extra of the lighthouse with a touch of rainbow as I was headed home again.
