Mini-Tornado

Several hundred mature trees were felled or stripped of their branches across Northamptonshire during this morning's brief but deadly mini-tornado. This is one example on Northampton's Racecourse, where trees that have survived for well over 100 years are now gone. There have been chaotic scenes on roads and railways.

Amazingly, there are no reports locally of injury.
