Coming Down

I've been riding a wave of energy recently, enjoying getting out and doing stuff, organising things, meeting people. A few days like that and I'm usually exhausted but, during this last week, with each new day I've been pleasantly surprised to find myself ready to go again. 

Until today, that is. It wasn't obvious until later that I was coming down with a cold. The first in eighteen months. I guess it had to happen sooner or later
