Walking along the dragon’s back

We went walking along the drover’s road in the Quantock hills today. Legend has in that a dragon called the gurt wurm was killed by a woodman and then the Quantock hills were formed from his fallen body. The drover’s road has been used for centuries for moving sheep and cattle. It was very windy and also sunny, ideal and dramatic weather for our adventure!
In the afternoon we went looking for st Agnus ‘ holy well. We found it after a while. It is said to be a place where the pixies live..
Then this evening we walked the dogs along the coast path at the seaside. See more photos in extras.
